As an active member of the Bristol conservation community, Steve works as both a landscape architect and conservation educator, helping schools and community groups connect to nature.

My favourite urban wildlife moment is finding a small colony of glow worms within Stoke Park. Bioluminescence bums - fantastic!

Having been honoured as Green Capital volunteer of the year and by Bristol Zoo in their walk of fame award for local conservation educator, he is a well recognised and much loved figure in Bristol.

Steve has spent his life working in Stoke Park and the nearby Frome Valley, witnessing and contributing to many changes aimed at improving our cities wildlife.

Steve is helping to lead 'My Wild Local Wildlife Site'.
