Grow Leader Placement - Land Management & Food Growing

Avon Wildlife Trust is at an exciting stage of transformation: Grow Wilder is one of the few urban AWT reserves and represents a significant education and enterprise opportunity to Bring Wildlife Back and Enable People to Take Action for Nature.

This volunteer role will be to lead on land management and food growing tasks over the 2024 growing season, coordinating volunteer groups, assisting in ensuring volunteers are kept safe and supported in their work. Within this role it will be a mix of the two different placements allowing your skills to grow.

Your volunteer placement will align closely with Grow Wilder’s Land Management Officer, contributing to the development of the 6 acre site land management and food growing plan.

Over time, you may wish to take on more responsibility and a wider range of tasks that will help you with your personal development, if required.
