Are you passionate about your local conservation and the ecological issues we face?

We are looking for outgoing, experienced and passionate sales people to join our supportive work team of Membership Recruiters. You will need the confidence and motivation to inspire people to support Avon Wildlife Trust through a small monthly donation.

The Membership Recruiter role is a minimum of 2 days a week, maximum 4 days. We work across the weekend as this is the busiest time for the majority of venues and events (such as event, shops garden centres, fetes etc. Therefore, you must be available and willing to work a weekend day.

South West Wildlife Fundraising Ltd (‘SWWFL’), wholly-owned by Wildlife Trust charities, providing fundraising services for 11 Wildlife Trusts across South & West England and Wales

Requirements

  • Experience of face-to-face sales, fundraising and/or promotions preferred.
  • Confident, self-motivated and resilient.
  • People-focused with an enthusiastic, engaging personality.
  • Must have access to a car and a full driving licence.
  • Looking for permanent role, creating a flexible working pattern.
  • Ideally, a love of nature; wanting to make a real BIG difference to protect and preserve for now and for the future generations.

  • £15 per hour enhanced basic rate during probationary training period with commission & bonuses paid from day 1.  After probation £11 per hour (£12 from 1/4/24) + commission.
