About the event
Experience the wonder of the Brislington dawn chorus this Spring.
Meeting just after sunrise, we will take a walk through Nightingale Valley to hear the spring phenomenon of the dawn chorus. Soak up the sound of the birdsong as Avon Wildlife Trust volunteer Chris, guides you through the valley while providing facts about our native species and their springtime habits. No prior experience or knowledge needed.
We guarantee you won’t regret the early morning!
You are welcome to bring your own refreshments and hot drinks for during the walk.
We will have some binoculars for you to borrow but if you have your own, please bring them along.
This event is part of our Youth Programme so we ask anyone attending to be between 14-25 years old. Anyone under 18 must have parental consent to attend. Parents and siblings are also welcome.
The session will take place outdoors so please dress warmly as it will be cold in the early morning! Sturdy, appropriate footwear is also recommended.
Parking: There is plenty of on-street residential parking around, including on Hill Lawn
No Dogs – we ask attendees to not bring dogs please.
