Run for Wildlife

Get running to help local wildlife thrive

Whether you’re a slower-paced rabbit or speedy hare, there are many challenges you can take part in throughout the year to raise funds for Avon Wildlife Trust.

For Bristol residents, there is the Great Bristol Run every year with distances of 10k and half marathon spots.

For Bath residents, the Bath Half offers half marathon spaces for those looking to take on a challenge for their local wildlife.

Will you join the race to put nature on the path to recovery? Check out these local running events to discover which is right for you:

We do not have charity spaces for these events, but if you would like to run for Avon Wildlife Trust, we can support you on your fundraising journey by:

What if I can't run due to sickness or injury and am using one of Avon Wildlife Trust’s free spaces?

You can defer your place to the next race for a £15 admin fee made payable direct to Ultra Running Ltd. Please contact their team at info@ultrarunningltd.co.uk to inform them of these changes and to make payment. Make sure to also let our fundraising team know so we can cheer you on!

What if I wish to cancel and am using one of Avon Wildlife Trust’s free spaces?

Avon Wildlife Trust has offered these spaces for free with the hope that they can raise vital funds for our charity. We receive no automatic funding from the government and all our work relies on the generosity of kind individuals like you. Therefore, to ensure we are not missing out on vital funds we ask runners to consider donating the cost of the running space to Avon Wildlife Trust. Each running space has been paid for by the charity at £78 per space and your donation will support people and wildlife on your doorstep. Please contact our fundraising team if you wish to cancel and leave a donation.

What if I bought my own space and can't run due to sickness or injury?
