Keynsham Local Group - Rewilding the Land and Ourselves, the story of Watercress Farm
Event details
About the event
Watercress Farm is one of Belmont’s nature recovery and connection projects just outside Bristol. The rewilding project aims to restore an environmentally degraded landscape to benefit nature, climate and community. Belmont has been rewilding and rewetting the landscape, enabling the land to act as a functioning floodplain while restoring natural water flow and creating a haven for birds, pollinators, and plants.
Martin is on a mission to change the world by bringing hope to people in an age of eco-anxiety. As the Head of Nature Connection at Belmont, he is dedicated to helping people understand their natural surroundings and fostering a deeper connection to nature that inspires a love for and commitment to protecting the planet.
The Baptist Church entrance is set back off the High Street, opposite the Coventry Building Society and close to the Queen Charlton turn off. Free parking in Ashton Way car park.
We will also be selling bird food, seasonal items, second hand books and greetings cards.
