Working from home and our office
Volunteer work you can do from a computer, from home or any other preferred location.
Volunteering remotely or in a hybrid capacity is a great way to get involved if you want flexibility in when and where you volunteer!
Office Volunteer
As an Office Admin Volunteer, you help keep the charity’s daily operations running smoothly so conservation teams can focus on protecting wildlife and habitats. Your role may include answering emails and phone calls, updating databases and preparing documents. This behind-the-scenes work is essential to ensuring projects are well-organised, information is accurate, and the organisation can make a positive impact on nature. Communications Assistant
We are looking for a volunteer to support the busy Communications team at Avon Wildlife Trust, who is willing to come to our Bristol office for a few hours most weeks. The Comms team are responsible for communicating about the work we do across the whole organisation - from land and reserves management, major projects, campaigning, fundraising, engagement and events to name a few - across a while range of different offline and digital channels.
We are increasingly more focused on digital marketing which, whilst brilliant at reaching our target audiences and getting them on board with our work, is time consuming both in terms of content creation and collecting analytics for informing ongoing work. We are looking for someone who enjoys being organised, is quick to get the hang of processes and who wants to get stuck into the digital world and either learn new skills or put into practice those accrued already.
This is a varied role which will involve supporting teams across the Trust, with the opportunity to creatively input to a variety of work such as campaigns, events and social media posts.
We will be opening applications for this role soon... details tbc.
