WeeklyWhat you will be doing
Completing regular wildlife monitoring activities, including: Bee, butterfly and bird transect walks. Reptile mat checking, Deploying and checking bioacoustic monitors and camera traps.
Occasional additional monitoring tasks, such as deploying and checking moth traps, completing bat surveys - using bioacoustic monitors and bat detectors.
Recording and reporting data collected during monitoring activity – both to volunteer supervisor and to national monitoring schemes.
The skills you need:
Interest in data collection and reporting.
Punctual and reliable.
Good species ID or a desire to learn.
Experience in wildlife monitoring may be helpful, but is not essential – training will be delivered for all activities.
