Please note this booking is for the introduction session only. To attend the workshops, we ask you complete an interest form and we will be in touch.

Come to Grow Wilder on Tuesday 14 October to meet Izzy A'isha, filmmaker and journalist and find out more about our upcoming workshops....

We're excited to be hosting Wildscreen, who will be facilitating free wildlife filmmaking workshops for 16-25-year-olds this autumn and winter. Each session will be based at Grow Wilder from 6pm-7.30pm on the following dates:

11 November

18 November

25 November

2 December

9 December

16 December

13 January

20 January

These workshops will be an opportunity to:

  • Learn techniques in storytelling
  • Understand how to engage different audiences
  • Use and try high quality hands-on equipment
  • Learn and use editing and film production techniques
  • Explore wildlife filmmaking career options through meeting and hearing from experts in the industry

How to get here

Grow Wilder (181 Frenchay Park Rd, Bristol, BS16 1EL) is well connected to walking, cycling and bus routes. If you're coming by bike, there are bike racks as you come in the main entrance of the site.

If travelling by car, Begbrook Social Club has kindly offered space in their car park which is located nearby - less than a five-minute walk away. If you have any accessibility needs, please let me know and we can get you access to park on site.

If coming by bus from central Bristol the m1, m3 and m4 metrobuses run regularly, and stop at Begbrook, which is located at the back entrance of Grow Wilder.
