My Wild Child

My Wild Child

My Wild Child sessions are weekly outdoor play sessions for families with under-fives. Held at different sites around Bristol during term time, sessions combine child-led free play with practical activities, including mini-beast quests, wild stories and much more! You can find us at the Bommie in Knowle and at Grow Wilder in Stapleton.

Update: St George Community Centre are starting their own ‘Wild Tots’ session with support from Avon Wildlife Trust, for more information please contact

Due to the changing nature of COVID-19 guidelines, our sessions will be running in a slightly different way to normal - so that families can continue to enjoy nature in the city in a safe way. We will be following the latest government guidance at the time of the event.

Please read the relevant Covid 19 safety agreement before booking and before attending.

My Wild Child activities are aimed at toddlers aged 2-4 years but younger siblings are welcome. Please make sure that you are dressed for the weather and supervise your children at all times. We’re currently unable to provide refreshments, so please bring along your own drinks and snacks for a tasty outdoor treat.
