Thanks to a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Avon Wildlife Trust has secured a new climate-resilient, nature recovery site: Ebdon Farm. As Site Manager, you will be at the heart of this exciting project, overseeing habitat restoration and the creation of a 14.5-hectare wetland.


As the new Ebdon Farm Site Manager, you will play a critical role in the development of the Ebdon Farm Nature Reserve. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent Site Manager capable of delivering our most ambitious project yet. You will oversee the delivery of a 14.5ha wetland, along with other terrestrial habitats. You will be experienced in land management for conservation and have a proven track record of overseeing contractors delivering large-scale habitat creation. 

Working alongside the new Ebdon Farm Engagement Manager, you will deliver site tours, a variety of events and a volunteer programme. Using your excellent communication skills and knowledge of nature, land management and climate change, you will inspire and inform your audiences. Using Ebdon Farm to increase understanding of local climate threats and the role climate-adapted sites like Ebdon Farm can play in helping us adapt.  

The Ebdon Farm project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to secure the site for wildlife and people together.

Full time, 37 hours per week

Fixed term to December 2028
