Community Ecologist (Nature Together)

We are looking for a confident, talented ecologist to work on an exciting new Nature Together project in Bristol led by Bristol City Council. This project is part of the UK-wide Nature Towns and Cities programme. The Community ecologist will work with three communities to co-produce projects that support their local climate and nature action plans. The successful candidate will use their experience in habitat creation and share their knowledge of local wildlife species with volunteers in the community, ensuring activity is aligned with local nature strategies and contribute to the wider communication, evaluation, dissemination activity/aims of the Nature Together Project.
This transformative partnership project, supported by National Lottery Heritage Fund is designed to help reverse the nature and climate emergencies in Bristol, providing a better quality of life for all.
