About the event

The Team Wilder Community Campfire shares knowledge and experience from community groups and individuals working to bring wildlife back to their neighbourhoods. Be inspired by short talks about how to overcome challenges and learn how you can take real action for nature in your area, including a Q&A with Avon Wildlife Trust and other professionals.

Hear from Amie, community ecologist, about river ecology and species found along freshwater habitats. And local speakers from community groups, sharing their experience about connecting with their local rivers and how their group has made a difference by taking action for nature, helping to protect this important and fragile environment.

This event is a great reminder that individual actions make a huge difference together. Our rivers need our help and there are small and large things we can do. Expect inspiration, local knowledge and heart in these short 10 minute talks, with time for Q&A at the end.

This event is taking place on teams, you will be sent a link before the event and do not have to have an account. See you there!
