From the Festival of Nature, Wildlife Photographer of the Year to community events, wildlife celebrations and summer fetes, Avon Wildlife Trust attends lots of events all year round, to showcase our work and recruit new members. These events need you!

We are looking for a team of volunteers to support our team of membership recruiters at events, which includes weekends. The role will include enthusing people about our work and running simple activities such as badge, mask and bird-box making, as well as supporting walks and members' events.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people and attend fun events, so please let us know if you think you have the enthusiasm for the role!

We couldn't do what we do without our members. Our members allow us to care for 36 nature reserves, run award-winning educational and community programmes and inspire the next generation to care about the environment.

Feed Bristol Events

On the first Saturday of the month Feed Bristol hosts events or communal work days/socials. Everyone is welcome to come join in the seasonal celebration or help on the day to run the events.
Help is needed in the café (donations of cake welcome), cooking/serving food, supporting the nursery, or manning the welcome gate. Contributions of workshops, craft stalls, cake and kids’ activities very much appreciated.

Bonus points for your pinecones! If you see any pinecones whilst you’re out and about, please start collecting them. We’d like to use them for children’s activities.
