Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 day visits

Custom Join Block

A day visit gives students the opportunity to discover wild places and learn about our native wildlife in a rich variety of habitats. Go pond dipping, plant a seed, explore semi-ancient woodland, investigate pollinators and bring the National Curriculum to life!

We offer EYFS and Key Stage 1 programmes at both the Folly Farm Centre and Feed Bristol.

Folly Farm Centre

Feed Bristol

The programmes listed below are suitable for EYFS and Key Stage 1 pupils. Your class can enjoy packed lunches in our roundhouse and harvest and sample tasty vegetables from our garden and polytunnels.

Growing Delights

Discover the wonderful world of trees, plants and vegetables in our living landscape. Follow a trail to make a sunflower grow, get to know seeds inside out, play the pollinator game and explore our fabulous site in the big plant hunt.

Happy Habitats

A chance to explore and contrast different habitats and get to know their inhabitants. Get down with the creepy crawlies in our vegetable garden for a popular minibeast hunt and learn how to encourage more invertebrates into your school grounds. Create a habitat board in our woodland or meadow to take back to class.
