Event details
About the event
We welcome interested applicants to come and meet the team!
The team at Grow Wilder are excited to invite you to our summer gathering of Grow Leaders - past, present and future. We hope you will join us to welcome in your weekend with inspiration, food, and connection from our (hopefully) sunny outdoor kitchen.
We will be celebrating our current Spring 2026 Grow Leaders with a final showcase of all that they have achieved, whilst catching up with our former Grow leaders, to find out what they have being doing since they left. So we warmly invite any curious future Grow leaders to come and learn what it's all about; join us to find inspiration and answers to any questions you may have before signing up for our Autumn intake, starting in August 2027. Read more about the Grow Leader course.
Bring your questions, meet current Grow Leader students, alumni and staff, and learn more about Grow Wilder's new strategy for community learning to inspire nature recovery in the region.
While we have our wonderful community together, the team at Grow Wilder would like to share our plans that we have been busy working on these last few months. We want to invite you to give your comments, ideas and suggestions. So, while you’re tucking into some top-notch snacks you can peruse our information boards and have your say.
So if you are a visitor, volunteer, work at Avon Wildlife Trust or just curious about joining us, we welcome you all to our beautiful nature reserve and learning hub in East Bristol. You will also be able to find out more about the venues available to hire and explore our Wildflower Nursery shop, which will be open late.
Please RSVP by booking your free place.
A spread of vegetarian and vegan food will be provided.

Avon Wildlife Trust has a vision for region wide community-led action for nature’s recovery. We aim to raise understanding about the urgent need for change, and recognizes individuals and communities' own roles in making the urgent and large-scale changes needed to protect nature.
Here at Grow Wilder we support local people in creating the projects they want to make happen. Grow Wilder was established in 2012 as an urban growing hub, learning centre, and wildflower nursery. Through habitat & food demonstration sites, learning workshops, and community events, Grow Wilder connects people with nature, aiming to inspire restoration and conservation of natural habitats in Bristol and beyond.
