Team Wilder Introduction

By 2030, our goal is to make Avon a much wilder and more natural place. We believe that everyone should enjoy the benefits of being surrounded by nature. Actions at a local level are key - they create valuable stepping stones for nature and link up larger green spaces where nature can thrive.

We are inviting everyone to be part of Team Wilder - a community of people working together to support nature throughout our region. Together, we can make a difference and create a healthier and more wildlife-rich environment for all.

Team Wilder is a growing movement of people who notice and celebrate nature in their day-to-day lives, taking the global problem of biodiversity loss down to a super-local level, enabling action to be achievable and the ‘new norm’.  How we manage the space around us is key. We want to increase wildlife corridors and nature recovery networks so wildlife can breed, travel, feed and shelter. Collectively, these small actions make a big difference.
