June has been a fun, nature-filled month for people of all ages across Bristol and our region. We have loved seeing how everyone has enjoyed their #30DaysWild challenge. Locally 1,500 people took part in the challenge, joining almost 50,000 people nationally - in noticing, experiencing, celebrating and standing up for our local nature and wildlife.

We’re lucky to live in a green and nature-rich city in Bristol and people have shared their highlights with us including planting wildflower seeds on their window sills, spotting birds and animals on their commute to work, and for children at school and at home there have been nature diaries, making bug hotels, drawing and painting the nature around them and lots more. Well done for all your efforts, big and small, that have contributed to us all having a very wild June and thank you for sharing them with us.

Our gallery gives a glimpse of some of the highlights from the month. The #30DaysWild challenge is a fantastic jumpstart to keep that nature habit going all summer whatever the weather. We hope you have a nature-rich summer and continue to #StayWild all year round.
