Then this is the volunteering opportunity for you! Our practical conservation volunteers are vital here at the Trust. They volunteer throughout our reserves maintaining and assisting with the management of the land.

Within this role you will be completing multiple different land management tasks. Learning more about the land that you are working on and the way that it can be managed.

What you will be doing

• Carrying out set practical tasks to support the Reserves Team in the delivery of the reserve management programme/plans.
• Following the guidance given by the Local Practical Group Leader and Reserves Team to achieve these ambitions.
• Volunteering as part of a team to contribute to the care and upkeep of valuable habitats.
• To be an ambassador the Trust when on-site.
• Practical tasks will include scrub management, hay-cuts, access route maintenance, infrastructure repairs, invasive species management, woodland management (coppicing).
