Living Landscape Officer
You will be working within key strategic areas helping to create a nature recovery network through the restoration of habitats at a landscape scale. This will involve managing nature reserves, contributing to our living landscape projects, co-ordinating the delivery of our badger vaccination pilot and mentoring placements.
We are looking for someone with a track record in managing land for conservation and inspiring a range of volunteers and mentoring placements. You will have a good understanding of habitat restoration, resource protection and the UK conservation framework.
Avon Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK. With the invaluable support of our volunteers, members and corporate supporters we manage 30 nature reserves for wildlife and people across the West of England. We also work with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the region and inspire local communities and people of all ages to care for wildlife where they live.
