New Avon Gorge nature reserve gets full planning permission

Full planning permission has been granted for a new nature reserve in Bristol's Avon Gorge. Avon Wildlife Trust's Bennett's Patch and White's Paddock – based at the former Bristol and West Sports Ground – will be getting a make-over this winter ready for it's launch in spring next year.

Public Statement on the Somerdale Development at Keynsham

Avon Wildlife Trust was named in Taylor Wimpey's planning application for the Somerdale development, on the former Cadbury Factory site at Keynsham, with the intention of creating a new nature reserve alongside the development of approximately 700 new homes on the site.

We work with a huge range of volunteers and community groups, in order to improve well being through contact with nature. The minibus would help us get these groups to our nature reserves.
