Wild Schools Film Challenge

Children with film equipmentWild Schools Film Challenge at Little Stoke School

Wild Schools Film Challenge encourages children to get outdoors and engage with nature by making their own wildlife film in their school grounds.

Created with the support of the community outreach and education project team from Rolls-Royce, Wild Schools Film Challenge is designed to be a fun and inspiring way to learn in the natural environment and support children's classroom learning. All of the equipment you need to create your films is available in our kit boxes and there are six available for schools throughout the Avon area to borrow free of charge for a three-week period.

Kit boxes need to be collected from our office at 32 Jacobs Wells Road, Bristol BS8 1DR. Please use the availability calendar below to guide you on when they are available and email schools@avonwildlifetrust.org.uk to request a kit box.

Please note Kit Box 4 contains Olympus cameras (rather than Sony cameras) which save in a format that may need converting for older Windows computers. Please ensure you are able to save files and convert them on your school computers before requesting Kit Box 4.
