An overview of sharks with Olivia Orchart, Marine Biologist and Aquarium Curator at Bristol Zoo.

A fascinating overview of sharks, including their history, sensory system and unique characteristics. Marine biologist Olivia’s talk will focus on the reputation, often adverse, given by the media and the response from education, research and conservation areas.


The Baptist Church entrance is set back off the High Street, opposite the Coventry Building Society and close to the Queens Charlton turn off.
Free parking in Ashton Way car park.


Sales of bird food, seasonal items, second hand books and greetings cards.
Refreshments available during the break (donation requested for AWT).
