We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative Communications Officer to join our Fundraising, Membership and Communications team to help us promote Avon Wildlife Trust and the work we do with nature, wildlife, and people in the local area to new and existing audiences. The role will include putting together our membership magazine, holding media relations, preparing communication plans and content creation for use across a variety of channels including social media and our website.
If you are an experienced communicator with the skills to bring nature to life in fun and creative ways for diverse audiences, and are good at finding and shaping compelling stories, then we’d love to hear from you.
Avon Wildlife Trust is a charity dedicated to working with local people for local wildlife, covering the West of England region (former county of Avon). It is supported by more than 17,500 members, manages over 30 nature reserves and is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts in the UK.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a first interview to take place on Thursday 4th February 2021. Applicants may then be asked to attend a second interview to take place on Tuesday 9th February.
