Would you like to gain more experience working in outdoor education around Bristol, promoting wild play and wildlife conservation to local families? Do you have a few hours spare per week?

We are looking for one or more volunteers to support the delivery of My Wild Child wild play sessions for 2-4 year olds and their families. Wild play sessions are delivered in green spaces around Bristol and will include wildlife conservation activities, wild art, mini beast quests, wild songs, stories and more!

You will be confident, with good communication skills and enjoy working outdoors in variable weather conditions throughout the seasons. You will also be available to help for at least one half day per week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays.

Tasks involve encouraging families and children to explore the space and helping to facilitate activities.

This is a wonderful opportunity to gain valuable experience in the growing field of outdoor education. It is also a great excuse to get outdoors and closer to nature.

For more information, please see the role description below.

How to apply

Please send an email with why you would like to volunteer for the Wildlife Trust and specifically for this role. Sara.Turrill@avonwildlifetrust.org.uk
