Avon Wildlife Trust is the largest local charity working to protect wildlife and inspire people in the West of England. The Trust operates from an office in Bristol, and has nature reserve across the region, including Folly Farm and Grow Wilder.

Our work on the North Somerset Levels and Moors is helping to restore a rare and valuable wetland habitat near to the Severn Estuary. Semi-aquatic plants on the moorland, wildflower meadows on the ridges and ancient woodlands all make up this beautiful and special landscape, and a range of birds, plants and invertebrates all depend on this landscape to thrive. We are working with partners Natural England, the Environment Agency, the Internal Drainage Board and North Somerset Council as well as our funders, Wessex Water, to improve this unique landscape for wildlife.

Our fundraising activities contact members of the public and individual supporters through a variety of communication channels, including in person, mail, email, social media, text and telephone. As a charity we protect the dignity of vulnerable people who choose to donate or raise funds for Avon Wildlife Trust.
