Improve your winter bird ID skills on this one day course for both beginners and improvers. With a focus on waterfowl and waders, discover more about our county’s winter birds at one of Avon's best winter sites. Expect a combination of an indoor introduction and outdoor practicals.

Course outline:

- An introduction to the winter birds you can expect to see in Avon and their favoured habitats 
- Learn how to identify common winter birds by both sight and sound
- Learn how to begin to distinguish between similar looking winter waders and waterfowl
- Discover more about one of Avon’s best birding sites
